I Am a Good Jumper! (by Rhodry)
September 10, 2006
I work very hard! I am a tired puppy! We went to Tillo's house. I helped Tillo take care of Janka and Caroline and Manoog and Rieke and Howie. Susanna said, "Rhodry, you are a good helper!" Susanna helped too.
We are taking care of some new horses too. Two of them are little. They are bigger than the puppy horse but they are not as big as Allie. The other one is bigger but she is not as big as Allie either. They are ponies! One of them runs very fast. Susanna opens the gate so she can go in the pasture and she zooms! I zoom too but I stay outside the fence. One of the ponies has to stay in her room because she has a hurt leg. Susanna takes her outside to let her eat grass. She likes that! I lie down and watch and make sure she does not run away.
My hardest job is jumping in the truck. I have to do it a lot! Susanna opens the door. I look at her: Maybe she will lift me up! She looks at me. "You can get in the truck, Rhodry!" I am an old puppy! I jump in the truck. We go to the ponies' house. Then I have to get in the truck. "Big jump, Rhodry!" I jump. "What a good jumper!" Smile smile, wag wag! We go to our house, then I have to get in the truck again. "Come on, Rhodry, you can do it!" I can do it! I jump in the truck. Then we go to Allie's house. There are cookies at Allie's house. There are carrots too. I took a carrot and walked very quietly out of the barn. "Rhodry! That is Monky's carrot!" Susanna was a little bit mad but not too much. Then we go to Tillo's house. "Big jump, Rhodry! You can do it!" I jump in the truck.
Tillo cannot come in the truck because it is not too big. Sometimes I ride in Tillo's car. It is big enough for two puppies! I like that. Tillo has more horses than me but I get to visit more horses than her.
Your friend,
Rhodry
